Daniel and Betim spent years building messaging integrations, sometimes together, sometimes independently. The experience was consistently miserable. Fragile APIs broke daily. Compliance headaches never ended. They patched systems that seemed designed to fail.
The tipping point came when Daniel found himself locked out of his bank account because a verification SMS never arrived. The fix was obvious: the message should have just fallen back to WhatsApp.
A few months later, they founded Sent. Now serving as CEO and CTO, they'll admit the platform was built largely out of spite.
But the pain they experienced wasn't unique to them. It was something every developer working with messaging infrastructure understood.
Sent exists to solve the reliability problems that had plagued them, and countless others, for years.
